For The Magpietales. Pic The Meal Beach, Burra Isles, Shetland by Robin Gosnall
falls on crests
across parched grains
I lay with you
watching the mountains
we ride the
crest of our own wave
the sun hits your back
meal I need
This is probably my favorite thing you’ve ever written. (At least what I’ve read anyway). Your descriptions in this are outstanding.
Ok I love you 🙂 I have written quite a bit of prose/poetry. I hope you have a chance to read more. THANK YOU Bo..really..thank you. x
I will eventually read everything! Are you published?
That’s what I really like – description without forced emotion – too many writers force their emotions on me. I’ll do the emotion bit if the words click! Your poem reminds me of haiku…have you seen Carpe Diem daily haiku…wonderful blog – I participate on http://teawithapirate.wordpress.com/ – Ithink more blogs definitely gets you more exposure,
I am so appreciative of your comments, really I am. I haven’t been on that site but I might go and take a peek. I have written some Haiku and Sonnets and Acrostics and such in other posts, it took me a long time to steer away from rhythm rhyming, through the help of other poets on here. I do slip back now and then when I think it requires it though. Thank you Pirate.
A nice homage to love and nature…
I thank you SW very much.
