and so no poetry it seems
for my muse has left the scene
skipped off down the corridor
with a Vodka and lemonade
she’ll end up in the toilet
then probably do her nails
wax her legs and pluck her brows
where ever will it end!
For those who follow what I do
I must apologise
I’ve called for her
even yelled at her
she fails to recognise
though she was walkin’ kinda funny
the last time that I looked
reminds me of yours truly
(hell do I really walk like that?)
so until she decides to return
I have to rely on me
the drivel that I write now
well you can plainly see
I NEED her back, pronto
where is the silly cow??
put the bloody Vodka down
can’t you see I’m in a bind
timing is ..well everything
don’t be so unkind
I swear if she don’t come back soon
my choices are not many
I’ll have to stop writin’ poetry
Oh Jenny.. Jenny.. Jenny
See this is what I write, when I have no idea what to write, but need to write..right?
I’m sorry I made me do it.
Thats the thing! You write about not being able to write, yet the poetry comes out! Im so proud of you J! Even if it sounds weird, i think its brilliant that you can still express your mind (or the blank version of it) in such creative manner! X
Aww sugar – thank you – I so did not know what to write last night, then this just blurted – my mind is blank on many occasions 😉 (hugs) xxx
There was a lot of booze involved in that poem, or maybe not enough, eh 😉
Hmm I think if I had drunk even half of that, I wouldn’t have been sitting at the keyboard 🙂
Can’t argue with that LOL
Lol. Hate when Muse does that. 🙂 x
painful little Muses 😉 xx
I know the feeling well, all I can say is that it was a good write even without the muse!!
aww thank you sweet, it sort of flowed I guess, even if I wasn’t really thinking lol 🙂 xx
Whose muse? Not yours. You’re doing fine without her. 😀
Thank you Tess, you’re so lovely ~ I won’t be able to get her back either, as I have another Service next Wednesday so my time will be limited again.. 😉 xx
Busy, busy. You need to take some time out for yourself. 😉
I am darling don’t worry 🙂 x
🙂 Good to hear.
hahaha…probably one of the best writers block poems i have read in a while…if my muse waxes its legs i hope i do not feel it….lol
chuckles – snorts thanks B ~ and come on waxing is easy 😉
eeepp….its the second immediately after i am more worried about….ha….
As we say down under aww ” suck it up princess” …but you are right ..it does take some getting used to~ smile
even without a gps , that muse will always find her way back to you
thank you lovely, hopefully, but now busy writing up another Service for next Wednesday 🙂 My 7th – 7 being a lucky number? xx
indeed it is jen )
HAHAHA very cute and funny!
thank you so very much 🙂 x
Reblogged this on The Rambling Rose and commented:
When you need a smile.

The vodka made you do it.:) For the record, I loved it.
*hic*…. thanks darling I am glad you did 🙂 xx
This is so charming Jenny, you are such a loveable person. I believe our muse vanishes when we are about to hit a growth spurt
Blushing ~ thank you darling…ooer as long as it’s up and not out ~ I’m happy with a growth spurt 😉
=) no worries you’ve got the gift
special hugs for you young lady 🙂 ~ thank you (as have you) xx
(hugs back) =)
Ha! 🙂 I love that she went to the bathroom with her vodka and lemon!
I’m tippin’ if she consumed that many bottles she would need too! 🙂 xxx
You are a delightful read even when you claim your muse is gone. Smiling at this one, J!
Thank you pettlebum you are so precious to me 😉 xxx
Hilarious…now I want Vodka although I prefer cranberry juice to lemonade. 🙂
Hmm I don’t mind that too 🙂 thank hun x
That’s you without the muse? I still love it, I don’t think you need her! 😀
Aww bless ya snooks 🙂 thank you xx
LOL! Were you writing about me?
‘hic’ yup 😉 x
