ManicDdaily has us using repitition. I was a little tired tonight, but this is my submission.
Well done Jenny, good use of repetition…..sad about that little boy.
Thank you Michael. Yes, it was very, very sad.
All the above is true but it is in our nature sadly we never never learn…. But and this is important we are at least aware, if we loose that we really will be in trouble. XXXX
we need to be aware, you are right…and sadly some do continue the same way and they are the ones who lose in the end. xxx
Aw, god. So sad. Wee ones just shouldn’t go. Condolences to all. Timely words, Jen.x
A little boy drowned in a nearby lake today, the weather was hot… they tried to revive him but couldn’t… Thank you sweety. x
How poignant, powerful and sad. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the little boy. Five years of age is just too young to go. jx
Thank you so much for reading.
Too many things we repeat in life, sadly we don’t get another chance when it comes to a life. Yes, very tragic, five as you say is just too young. x
the end ripped my heart out. how very sad.
It was, I heard it on the news this afternoon. Somehow prompted this write. x
This repetition is hurtful… how we ignore things and repeat our mistakes again and yet again. Let us not repeat. Great message. 🙂
Yes that we seem to do don’t we, sometimes we learn..others we don’t – thank you anmol
Repetetition work so well and most often it’s only the sad one being repeated… including the devestating news of children dying… really sad.
I hadn’t actually realised when writing, but you are right BR – they are the sadder ones repeated and the children the saddest of them all. Thank you for reading.
oh no…there are def. things that we should never repeat…so sad about the little one..
Agreed Claudia on both comments – thank you for reading.
Oh, so sad– this has a wonderful progression and cadence– moving from the general to the particular–well done. K .
Thank you K, yes I wanted to break up what we do- and things we can easily change to things that are done and continued/repeated. Thank you for reading.
we are like a skipping record at times, ever repeating…falling into loves that are no good for us….ugh on the last bit…we damage…and i am so sorry on the little one…that one pinged pretty hard…..
I can only nod – with your words B…. Thank you for reading.
A powerful poem here, Jenny. There are so many things that repeat again and again unless the pattern is broken! And sometimes it is NOT. Sad about the five-year-old who lost his life. No chance for a repeat on that…so very heartbreaking.
thank you Mary, we learn from our mistakes… and have to repeat to get it right..sometimes we fail..or forget what needs to be corrected… and yes the parents of this little one won’t have another chance. Thank you for reading.
How sad for the little one ~ The repetition works so well, we need to learn ~
It is indeed Grace. Thank you very much for reading & commenting…and yes we all do. x
Jen, poignant and beautiful.
thank you lovely xx hugs
So sorry to hear about the young child.
I like the repetition in this. Nicely done.
Thank yes such a tragedy ~ thank you Tess xx
Such a poignant piece– we too often repeat our own actions with mistaken beliefs that this time is different, this time will prove us right. Which makes our mistakes all the harder to take. Thank you for sharing this ~ peace, Jason
Yes Jason, we are but human and sometimes it takes repeated tries in order not to make mistakes in life. You are most welcome and thank you for reading.
I’m so sorry to hear about the little boy. Wonderful poem, Jen.
I know it is awful, spending a hot day with his family at a lake… Thank you hun xx
We do repeat. And sadly we keep getting what we always have, when we repeat the sameness of our unlearned lessons.
My heart goes out to the little boy.
Very emotional words Jen.
True Colleen, thank you. Even as we grow, we still seem to fall into what is not right, or shouldn’t do, or take heed… yes it was terribly sad and tragic for this family. xx
Omg a five year old. That is horrible.
yes hun, it was… xx
Dang, Jenny. This is, from the beginning, pain-filled and then that wrap-up. There are a few expletives I would like to use but will refrain. So very sorry and the sad reality–it’s happening all over, all too often.
Oh Wow – thank you so much Vick – you can ‘explete’ away – I don’t mind ~ smiles. Yes the ending happened yesterday, the other part… well we do see all too often, what we continue to do..and not learn from. Thank you so much for reading.
Powerful cadence all throughout, hauntingly sad, & awakening. This deserve to be performed & it will be great without a doubt. How sad to think we repeat same flaws more often than we repeat same good deeds and yet we often fail to learn.
Kelvin such gracious words thank you so much, we do repeat our flaws, repeat the mistakes ..to learn only sometimes…and it seems to be only the bad, not much of the good we repeat, thank you for reading.
Oh, my heart stopped for a minute at the end, so very sad. But your point, powerful. xo
Thank you darling and hello!!! xxx
