there are thongs – no get your mind out of that
gutter – they are flip flops
is that what ‘youall’ say?
not the plastic blister between toes kind
but leather, if you hardly mind
there are brown boots low heeled, for riding
scuffed and worn ~ I look the part (I think)
as I gallop up and down (eek more rhyme)
and flats – did I mention them?
the high-heels of past have left the room
though I bring ’em out occasionally
for that va-va-va-va-vooom!
different colours, different shapes – hell no
I’m really no Emelda ~ I cling to shoes
as they do me and I don’t go nuts on handbags
shoes being so much more prac-tic-al
then there’s knee high boots and ankle tans
that are my fave, I love the way they
fit my feet and have a
je ne sais quoi
Runners  ~ oh Yep there’s them
erm possibly four pairs, for gardening, for
walking, or simply cool ones for jeans
and another pair just for ‘there’
(this is getting worse – bare with me I’m almost at the end)
then there are my uggies – yes that’s them
that’s in the pic
they are my snuggle warm feet ‘shoes’
with lambswool comfy thick
for those wintry days – I wear them constantly
and my feet enjoy them – well I think they do
what feet wouldn’t love warmth with lots of wool?
have I walked a mile in my shoes
have I walked five hundred miles
possibly not quite so much
but I do like the different styles
so there is my blagh to shoes for DVerse
forgive the crappy rhymes
my shoes I wear them on my feet
I wear them all the time
🙂
